Piling operations in the UK started in the late 1980s and since then the company has successfully delivered projects employing all of its geotechnical systems. In 2012 however, it was recognised that the ongoing growth of the UK operation demanded a dedicated business unit - P J Edwards & Co (UK) Ltd.
At the time this new business unit was established, high profile contracts were being carried out across the UK. Examples being a large diameter CFA contract for London Crossrail and piling associated with the Second River Forth Crossing in Scotland. The company operates in all sectors of the piling market. Commercial, Industrial, Residential, Infrastructure (Road, Rail, Airports and Power, Gas, Chemical Installations)
The success of such a new business venture required highly motivated and experienced staff passionate about geotechnical engineering. These criteria were met in abundance by the new Management Team, who between them, can boast over 100 years experience in specialist piling and civil engineering activities.
